Narragansett Bay Insurance Company Among ‘2026 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island’ for Second Consecutive Year

[TAMPA, FL – April 27, 2026] For the second consecutive year, Narragansett Bay Insurance Company has been named one of the “2026 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island,” according to Providence Business News and Best Companies Group. The recognition was determined through a survey and awards program designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in Rhode Island, thereby benefiting the statewide economy, workforce and business community.

The 2026 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island list contains only 68 companies from the entire state. To be considered, each company had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

• Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity
• Be a publicly or privately held business
• Have a facility in the state of Rhode Island
• Have a minimum of 15 employees working in the state of Rhode Island
• Must be in business a minimum of one year

Participating businesses entered a two-part survey process. The first consisted of evaluating a company’s policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second consisted of an employee survey to measure the workforce experience. The combined scores determined the top companies in Rhode Island. Final rankings will be revealed at an in-person event on June 11th at the Crowne Plaza and published by Providence Business News in June.
